Glen Moray Distillery
Glen Moray situated on the banks of the river Lossie in Elgin is a small friendly and informal distillery.  It was built in 1831 in the classic square layout of a Scottish farm. There are regular daily tours of the distillery including a  tasting  or you can pre-book  a more in depth tour of the distillery followed by an informal tutored tasting.  Glenmoray offers a coffee shop which serves a full range of meals and a shop which offers a full range of glen moray single malt whiskies. There is also a range of clothes, gifts and food on offer so you can take home as a little reminder of your visit to Glenmoray.

Johnstons of Elgin
Johnstons of Elgin is synonymous with the finest quality luxury cashmere in the world.  Their flagship mill in Elgin, the only mill in Scotland to transform cashmere from fibre to finished article.
Free mill tours are availalble Mon-Friday
Their coffee shop is open 7 days, serving morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea.

Cairngorm Mountain
An hours drive takes you to the Cairngorms, where you can experience the wonderful wildlife, guided walks, snow sports or have a ride up on the funicular railway and relax in the Ptarmigan restaurant, where you can enjoy lunch with a view or sample a Speyside malt or cairngorm ale.

Baxters of Speyside
The well known Baxter’s soup, preserve and beetroot is made in their factory, which is situated on the river Spey, Fochabers.  The coffee shop offers snacks to 3 course meals but their favourite  speciality is the pancakes made to order .

Scottish dolphin centre, Spey bay
Less than half an hour away our local dolphin centre offers land-based dolphin watching, tour Scotland’s biggest ice house, free binocular hire, kids activities, watch out for ospreys, otters, seals and more and most important a coffee shop to heat you up.
